We know that if you suggest setting up a SSAS to your clients, one of the first questions they’re likely to ask is – but how much will it cost?

Our pricing structure gives your clients the highest return for the lowest cost possible, and we’re committed to providing value for money in all of our services. We charge clients as fairly as possible and can adapt our fees if the amount of work required changes – we keep our costs down to ensure clients have as much as possible to contribute to their pensions and growing their business.

One thing to note, which is important to let clients know, is that any money they spend from their business adding to their SSAS can be classed as a tax deductible, allowable expense, potentially saving them money on Corporation Tax in the long run.

Our pricing structure works through us charging one fee for setting up the scheme, and then an ongoing monthly fee for managing it.

We charge our clients a fee of £1200 + VAT when they first apply to set up their SSAS.

This covers the cost of:

  • A full first consultation, where we provide advice on the best way to structure their SSAS pension
  • All applications for HMRC, and communications with them too
  • All of the above, but for the Pension Regulator
  • Setting up a new bank account for the client
  • Trust deeds, and the deeds of appointment for all of the SSAS member
  • Producing a reference pack for the client to introduce them to their SSAS
  • Registering with the Information Commissioner

THIS IS PAYABLE AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION

WE ALSO CHARGE AN ONGOING MONTHLY ADMIN FEE

Why do we use a professional trustee?

It might not be a legal requirement any more for a professional trustee to be on board with your clients’ SSAS, but we include the service in all of our schemes because we believe there so many practical reasons and benefits for including one.

Pensions are so complex and constantly developing, and this can make them especially hard for business owners (aka scheme members) to get their head around. This can lead to members completing actions they shouldn’t, which can then infer serious penalties from HMRC that could throw a real spanner in the works for their business.

Working with a professional trustee can prevent this, and make sure that everything your client does with their SSAS is within the latest guidelines.

As part of our robust pension administration service, our fees include a professional trustee to make sure our clients are compliant at all times – we think they’re so important, that we don’t set up a scheme without one.
